Edison State Students, should use the 'Edison Student Wireless' connectivity. Edison State Staff should use the 'Staff' wireless connectivity. The 'Edison State Public' connection can be used by Edison guests. The Public wireless connection has a limited speed. For special events at Edison State a separate temporary SSID (connection) may be enabled for users to connect to. To connect to the Wireless network, please follow these steps: Click on the network link (bottom right corner - if you are on your computer). You will see some options fpor connectivity: If you are an Edison State student: Connect to the “Edison Student Wireless” network Enter Password: Chargers A splash page will open in your web browser. Enter your Edison State username and password, check the box for consent, and select “Sign in.” All staff and faculty at Edison State: Connect to the “Staff” network Enter Password: Chargers A splash page will open in your web browser. Enter your Edison State username and password, check the box for consent, and select “Sign in.” Guests visiting Edison State: Connect to the “Edison State Public” network A splash page will open in your web browser prompting you to enter your phone number. Please enter the full 10 digit phone number You will receive a text message containing a verification code. Enter the code when prompted Check the box for consent and select “Sign in.”

For users having trouble connecting to WiFi on Google Chrome or Chromebooks. If you are having trouble loading the captive portal sign in page, you may need to go to the following and change settings: 1. Open a Google Chrome Browser 2. Open Settings 3. navigate to "Privacy and Security" 4. Navigate to "Security" 5. Navigate to the "Advanced" section 6. Toggled off the "always user secure connections" switch 7. Refresh the captive portal page and you should be prompted to sign in with your Edison credentials.
