Get Office 365 on a Chromebook
You can access your Microsoft 365 apps from the web — including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, OneDrive, and Outlook.
The web apps allow you to:

Create, edit, and collaborate on documents and files.

Send and receive emails.

Maintain an online calendar.
Note: You cannot install the Windows or Mac desktop versions of Microsoft 365 or Office 2016 on a Chromebook.
How to run Office apps on a Chromebook
To access Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and OneDrive, do the following:

Open the browser on your Chromebook and go to www.office.com.

Sign in with your Edison State credentials.
- You will see all of the apps on the left menu and can utilize all the apps and functions available on the web version of the each app.
Note: You can view files and do basic editing in Office.com. Not all functions are available in the online version of Office 365 apps.
How to run Outlook on a Chromebook
Do the following:

Open the browser on your Chromebook and then go to www.outlook.com.

Sign in with your Edison credentials.
- You can utilize all functions available for Outlook on the web.
